PMTV continues to update our database of production related mobile units, TV Production trucks, Satellite Uplinks, etc. Below is a quick updated tally comparing as of 3/4/2013 vs 2011. The number of higher end 3D & HD trucks continues to grow as expected, but also good to see some smaller units coming on line for events that dont need an "NFL TRUCK" level productiuon. And also as expected, the # of SD trucks continue to dwindle as units are retired, gutted, etc. Also we've had quite a jump in the # of Uplink trucks we have added to our database, for a variety of reasons, despite the current commentary that broadband will render occassional use Satellite Uplink trucks moot... "NOT GONNA HAPPEN" at least not anytime soon...
